The FCC has approved 4 companies to provide internet via low-orbit satellites. Yesterday SpaceX successfully deployed 60 of its planned 12,000 satellite ‘Starlink’ Network that would provide high-speed internet to the entire planet.

Rates – this week the 10 Year US Treasury dropped to a 17 month low in response to our Trade War with China. Rates decreased slightly. The Bond Market closed early today and will re-open Tuesday in observance of Memorial day.
New Home Sales – While these numbers are weaker than March’s blockbuster report April’s numbers are very strong. The Median house price is at $342,200 a 9% gain from last year and supply is holding steady at 5.9 months.
Jobs – The number of people filing for unemployment for their first time held steady at 211,000. Since this week of data will be used in the June 7th BLS job report it indicates a strong upcoming report.
